My wife and I swam for Dalhousie in the mid-1960's and that positive experience has remained with us throughout our lives. Coaches Carol McLean and Bob Graham were big influences on that experience.

Dear Ella-Bella: Your dad, Coltrane, Grandma Lynne, Grandma Leoma, Aunty Heather, Uncle Dave, Uncle Tyler, Amelia, Uncle Trevor, Uncle Brent and I miss you a great deal in Calgary but we also value all of the incredible learning opportunities you are experiencing at Dalhousie - in the classroom and on the court. We are so very happy with the circle of support you have in Halifax, while being exceptionally proud of how dedicated you are to your team's success. Fingers crossed - your team is able to come back to Edmonton to compete next Christmas. Sending you lots of love...xoxo Mom

I will happily support anything which represents my alma mater Dalhousie University, which was the making of who I am right now. Just think - I began with a B.Com. degree, which allowed me to teach History and Economics with some authority. I finally returned to Dal some years later to complete a B.A degree as well as High Honors certificate and Masters degree in English, something I should have done fresh out of high school. So, I am and continue to be such a happy camper, having retired from 20 great years of teaching English at Charles P. Allen High School including latter years as English Department Head. Thanks, Dal, for making me so secure and happy in these retirement years.
