Vision
For a decade now, Dal alumni and community members have been helping international students share in the holiday spirit. The holiday season is a special time of year, filled with traditions and celebrations that bring people together. Yet, for many Dalhousie international and out-of-town students, the distance from home makes it challenging.
On December 19, 2024, we have the opportunity to host 200 students for a delicious meal served in a warm and welcoming environment at the 10th Annual International Student Holiday Dinner.
Strategy
We invite you to be part of this cherished tradition by contributing to the 10th Annual International Student Holiday Dinner. Since its inception in 2015, this event has united over 1,600 students, alumni, staff, and faculty. Together, we share holiday joy thanks to the generosity of donors like you. Mahbubur Rahman, an alum who attended the first dinner, reflects on its lasting impact:
“I had the opportunity to attend the Dinner in 2015 as a student. It was a great event; we shared a Canadian holiday dinner and I felt included in the local holiday celebrations. Impact
